I just made a big run of sour mashed rice whiskey and yesterday and today I put a bunch of it to use. I filled a 5 gallon once used bourbon barrel with it @55%, and got going on my blackberry schnapps I guess. I thawed out all of the blackberries that I picked and froze last year, about 10 kilos, and pureed them. I mixed in a half gallon of the rice whiskey and let it soak for 24. This morning it went into the thumper, and rice whiskey and water into the boiler. Hopefully it's flavorful!
