All the boilers (1 x 2000L Still, 1 x 1000L Still and 1 x 2000L Mash Tun) are all powered by a Simons Steam Generator. It draws 556 amps per phase and can heat one 2000L in around 20 minutes. If I needed to heat all 3 it would do it under an hour.

I just boiled 25l in my new boiler in 20 minutes and that blew my hair back. Holy mother of moses, that puts some perspective into my life! Where can one acquire one of said Simmons steam generators?

556 amps should make smoke come off your electricity meter wheel and would empty my boiler in about 2 minutes.
