what happens after the condenser won't effect vapour flow ...its the liquid end....so you are fine with your reducer there .
A 2" shotty will be great and you could use it later on if you decide to make a bubbler :handgestures-thumbupleft: .Also they are very efficient ,the distillate will come out at 20Deg easily with bearly a trickle so you can run the water through the shotty and then up through the reflux coil and it will work very well
