Fixing the leak

The T500 has finally developed the leak I've been hearing about
This sylicon do the trick, or any have a better brand?

You will need to use high temp food grade silicone mate and I've only found it to be a short term fix :crying-blue:

This one was high temp, also said something like ok for drinking water on it,... Was hoping that was good enough for food grade, but not something I really want to chance if it's not good enough.

Teflon tape / plumbers tape worked for me for a while

Not sure whereabouts your leak is? But what about flour paste? Safe for use with alcohol vapour and sets like concrete.

Flour paste sounds like a great 1st option!
It's leaking from the black plastic cap at the top of the mast
Out of the country for a couple of weeks, so will give it a try when I'm back, will have 2 washes ready to go by the time I'm back

Heading to LA for 4 nights, then Vegas for three,... Just enough time to run amok, without having enough time to cause any serious damage to myself or others!

If you go down the flour paste path please don't make it a permanent fix as it is only ever intended for a temporary/emergency fix.

I know I wouldn't trust it forever.

even with the Teflon this was temporary. i had 2 temporary fixes before it was fixable no more, cleaning ruined it my last time. the water pressure pushed the cap enough to make it leak again
