Well here it is! The best it's ever gonna look :laughing-rolling: Couple of hours polishing and this is the result, hope you all like it. Tomorrow is vinegar and sac run if the handbrake lets me, otherwise I'm going fishing!

Cheers Prof, The parrot was a leftover from my Boka, used once then just went off temp. Fits nice there I thought, a real bastard to polish though that's why it is what it is!
can the parrot breath up the top of the collection. havent got a still mounted parrot but thought they needed to be open so they dont flood or something? like this
equipment: Original FSD 5 plate 4 inch modular bubbler SSG with hand crafted plates and parrot by Mac. 18 Gal boiler. 2 x 2400W elements and power controller. .
equipment: 4 plate 6" copper bubbler, 6 plate 4" glass bubbler with 500mm packed section three way thumper sitting on a 50 ltr keg boiler with 6000watts, 2" pot still and a 2" boka.

Mac has them in store, worked out easier to get the glass and seals there. Plus there twice as thick which helps in my case cos I'm pretty heavy handed :))
Mate, I just gave the parts a citric bath then a quick sand with 320 wet&dry and hit them on the calico buff on a bench grinder. I used the green josco compound from Bunnings didn't really take that long at all. The time consuming part is stripping down and re assembly.
