Does anyone carbon filter their low wines before they do the spirit run on a neutral? I thought it might pull out a lot of the things that i'd normally discard and make the hearts cut a bit bigger.
Im worried that the low wines (45%abv) are going to be so dirty that the carbon will be saturated with gunk and it wont adsorb much.
I've set up a 50L keg dripping through a carbon filter, its slow going but i cant still till next weekend anyway. I've done this recipe a whole bunch of times so ill be able to tell if theres a noticeable improvement with carbon filtering before the spirit run
