Here's my parrot.
After reading about what it can do I decided to build one to help counter my inexperience.
Seems to work OK. After taking off the foreshots, I slide the parrot into the system and empty it at the end of each cut jar to limit smearing.
It's certainly useful to know the ABV of the output in real time.
I made it from parts from the local plumbing store. Silver soldered it together. Gave it a bit more of a clean up after I took this photo.
I thought about fitting a drain at the bottom but was concerned it could be a bit slow changing over.
