Sourcing amaro ingredients

Postby Geoffaf » Mon Aug 19, 2019 7:21 pm

Hi all,

I'm keen to try my hand at some homemade amaro, but I'm having difficulty finding traditional ingredients like Gentian root and wormwood.

Has anybody found a good online source for herbs and spices? (Or bricks and mortar in Brisbane).

Thanks
Geoffaf

Hi Geoff, welcome to the forum. I moved your post here to the welcome centre as it is your first and it’s best to have your own thread to ask any and all questions.
I can’t help you with the ingredients you are chasing but I’m sure others can :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Welcome Geoff.

Austral Herbs are good too but they have a $50 minimum order.

Cheers,
