Hi Folks,
Just bottled my first drop of anancello. Being my first brew, I was impatient (I am sure that you can all relate to that) Had to sample it after 3 days. Wow, I was impressed. Looks like I’ll be making a few of these. Started the process by peeling 10 Valencia oranges and then cut up the peel into small bits. Used a mortar and pestle to squash it all up and with a cup of sugar. Placed it in a one litre bottled and filled it up with 41%. Left it for three days (looking at it regularly like a new born, giving it regular cuddles) Ended up filtering it through a couple of chux super wipes. Looks really flash in the fancy bottle. Had a bit left over and thought I’d better do the right thing and have a sip. Yummo de yummo. Don’t think it will get much of a chance to age as the family will be down this weekend. Any thoughts on variations or improvements would be much appreciated by this new apprentice.
Cheers
Les
