First TPW spirit run Succesful!

Postby joel0395 » Mon Jan 27, 2020 9:00 pm

Big day in the shed, i ran 150L of tpw through a strip run Fri & Sat, i was left with 30l @ 50% watered down to 40% and 35L. Started the still at 7am, just finished at 9pm. Collected 47 jars 300ml each, all around 93% she ran perfect all day with no dramas at all. I will attempt to do my cuts tomorrow night, i think jars 1-18 heads, then 19-44/45 hearts. Happy Australia day yall!

Well done! That's the reason many opt for bigger stills :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Nice work :handgestures-thumbupleft:, don’t throw away your heads/ tails, that’s what we call feints and they do have some good hearts still mixed in there. You can either add them back to your next run or save up enough and do a whole feints run, making sure both times the boiler charge is at or below 40%.
