Well the Lager yeasts are about done very happy with the last few gens working their magic in just a couple of weeks.
Got hold of 500gm of EC1118 from WineQuip SA for<$30 bonus...a few details here for those looking to avoid heating and bread yeasts.
It's another Saccharomyces cerevisiae bayanus
High alcohol tolerance up to 18%
Short lag phase
Fast fermentation rate in a wide pH range
ferments in the 10 - 30c range optimal 15c - 25c
