Just wondering

Postby prawnz » Fri Nov 17, 2017 11:40 am

Just been wondering .
If I have say 4 TPWs on (which I do ) , when I strip I'll grab 150ml of the top of each one and discard .
My real musing is , when I combine the lows and go for a spirit run , will there be a further 150 or so of paint stripper to come off , say before heads , or have I already got it all in the strippings ?
I know with cuts I will still only take hearts , just curious about the fores .

Do it, smell it and you will know. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Even washes from the same recipe can vary at times.
So smell, feel and as a last resort taste.
You will get use to your recipes and your still faster than sticking rigidly to temps, times and what others do.

Still is good practice to learn how to detect it so your not just blindly ditching spirit..
