Chocolate Rum Liqueur

Hey Team,

So I’ve been making a fair bit of the Still Spirits Chocolate Rum.

https://www.thebrewshop.com.au/still-spirits-icon-liqueur-chocolate-rum.html?source=google&medium=ppc&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAqeYaiofIuHBjGotcmG_20wuG6rJB&gclid=Cj0KCQiA4-y8BhC3ARIsAHmjC_HdO_D4x2Lde4j817vThK_3tdfCa90MiiH4I6d5XJ0cs6pYErPh4PgaAthOEALw_wcB

Now I’ve got a bunch of mates wanting it by the bottle, and I’ll be honest, it’s bloody amazing stuff.

The problem is I feel like a fraud, as it’s not exactly home made.

So question for the team. How close do you reckon we can get it to the store bought stuff and where do we start recipe wise?

TIA!

I think you would need to experiment for sweetness you are after but I would start with a macrum rum as the base spirit then add cottees chocolate syrup and a 1:1 sugar syrup for taste.
