Power controller with AVR25 & F175-25 from United Automation

Postby Brendan » Sat Jun 02, 2012 5:25 pm

Has anybody built a controller using the AVR25 and F175-25 from United Automation (sold by RS components in Australia)?

The AVR25, is basically an off the shelf version of your PSR25 phase angle regulator, assembled in a case with pot, and heatsink.

And the F175-25 is the matching RFI filter to connect in line between controller and heating element...

They aren't cheap, but i'm told good quality...i'm thinking of making up a controller with these and wondered if anybody had forked out the $$$ for these already?
