Cashmere Syrups as vodka flavouring

Just playing with some Cashmere coffee syrups and cocktail mixes.
The Irish Cream and White Chocolate flavours work well with milk as a Mocktail (according to my friend who is no longer able to drink alcohol for health reasons).

I have just used some Turkish Delight Coffee Syrup to attempt a Turkish Delight Vodka (200ml syrup to 500ml 40% neutral).
My initial taste test (straight) gave more of an alcohol flavour than a Turkish Delight flavour but I rarely drink spirits at that strength so it might just be me moticing more alcohol than usual. Flavour may improve over time. I have given some to a friend who loves Turkish Delight and enjoys a tipple so I will report back when she has tried it.

I do not expect every experiment I try to be successful. Twinings Rose Lemonade tea or Rosewater Essence may be better options for Turkish Delight Vodka.

Taste testers initial report - TD flavour is weak but liqueur is nice overall (due to the high quality neutral). Planning to add a bit more TD syrup to the remainder and see how that goes. So far this experiment is not particularly successful and unlikely to be repeated.

Maybe some rosewater essence and choc syrup :-B

I had thought of that as an extension after this round of tests. This bit is the systematic testing of coffee syrup as an alternative to the cake flavourings etc. So far the TD flavour is too weak. (I suspect it would be weak in coffee too - although it looks pretty in the bottle!)
I have other coffee syrups and cocktail mixes to try too.
My taste testers are eagerly awaiting the next round of experiments!

I used to make turkish delight. Basically rosewater gelatin coated in choc. Or dusted with icing sugar..
I reakon find a turkish delight recipe substitute the water for vodka...leave out the gelatin(would gelatin set alcohol base?) Keep rosewater and sugar ratio. I would prob use 20-25% vodka for this.
Should work fine would even be pink.drink as is or add it 3/4 td base with 1/4 choc base something like bailys style choc base..

Thanks Bluc - that will be my next experiment for a TD vodka after this one. I can add a bit of pink food colouring to make it pretty!
